Medium frame build with room to fill out. Shows good athletic coordination in his game. Hitting start is from a slightly open stance, back knee bent, flat bat on shoulder that transfers easily to strong bat speed and extension to barrel through ball that has loud contact. Good balance and plate coverage. Hands work well with barrel and has good bat control. Ostrander displayed a good over all skill set for game in all areas. Strength was good in running as he posted a 6.93 60-yard dash time. Good run style and coordination. Glove on defense was sure and displayed an accurate throwing ability. Good arm speed and ball came out of handy easy. The bat, to conclude is very interesting as his style, approach was advanced for age. Chance to hit at next level.
