6/12/18: Right handed hitting big frame 1B prospect. Tall upright set up in box. Showed good bat speed with an uphill bat path and high finish. Short stride to baseball, doesn’t use lower half as much as should. Showed good power in swing and ball jumped off bat. Showed soft hands and good feel around the bag at 1st.

6-foot-2, 205 first baseman is physical in the batters box, showcased above average bat speed with lift. Simple short stride with big frame, balanced setup and swing throughout, limited hand load, creates barrel tilt. Average lower half, more to generate with bigger movements. Struggled with ball inner half, looks to get arms extended. Choppy defensive actions at first base, feet average around the base, fields baseball deep. High ¾ arm slot across the diamond, long exchange and delivery, average arm strength across the diamond.
2/25/17: 6-foot-2, 205 pounds. Offensively, wide setup, no load, short stride, lower half tends to collapse, good balance. Above average bat speed, short/slightly uphill swing plane. Pull side hitter, stiff rhythm. Registered a high exit velocity of 85 mph. Across the INF throws topped out at 76 mph. Fields the ball deep, long exchange. Ran a 7.88 in the laser-timed 60 yard dash.
