2/19/17: 5-foot-11, 165 pound outfielder.  Offensively, open setup, smooth load, short stride, average lower half.  Maintains balance throughout the swing.  Showcased an advanced approach.  Gets good separation with barrel control.  Level swing path, line drive approach.  Registered a high exit velocity of 81 mph.  Defensively at SS solid glove work, fluid feet, quick/clean exchange.  Short arm action, ¾ slot, throws topped out at 74 mph. Ran a 7.52 in the laser-timed 60 yard dash.  .  In the OF, short ¾ arm action with some accuracy.  Average hands, fluid footwork, clean exchange.  Plays through the baseball. 
9/24/16:  The 5 foot 11 158 pound utility player showcased athletic actions in the box.  Barrel gets going quick.  Backside is involved early.  Path is level with extension.  Scaggs produced solid contact during batting practice.  In the outfield, footwork is fluid with a clean exchange.  Arm action is long, loose with an overtop slot.  Throws were accurate at 78mph.  In the infield, hands are sure and plays thru the ball well.  Scaggs ran a 7.59 60 yd dash.

2/21/16: 5-foot-10, 152 pounder ran a 7.80-60. Showcased sure hands defensively with fluid feet. Clean exchange.  Plays through the baseball. Solid defender.  Offensively, hits from a balanced setup, loads back; slight arm bar.  Short stride. Good balance.  Average bat speed.  Keeps the barrel in the zone.  

6/22/15: 5-foot-10, 145 pounder possesses soft hands with clean footwork.  Plays through the baseball well.  Exchange was clean.  Short, ¾ arm action across the field at 74 mph.  Ran a 7.31-60.  Offensively, hits from a tall setup.  Loads back, short stride.  Showed good balance.  Showcased good bat speed for his age (80 mph exit velocity).  Level path to the baseball, line drive type hitter.
