Positional Profile: RHP/3B
Body: 5-11, 165-pounds. Lean, projectable frame.
Hit: RHH. Wider stance with balanced weight distribution. Quick, small load into drive leg with a lengthy hover stride achieving hip separation in swing. Hands work up and back in time with stride. Overall high intent stroke. Quick hands with a short, even bat path. Line drive approach hitter.
Power: 87 max exit velocity, averaged 77.2 mph. 312' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-83 mph. Loose arm action with a torque. Arm works fast.
Defense: Confident, developed footwork from the hot corner. Shows feel with the glove wtih a decent exchange ability.
ATH: 7.36 runner in the 60.

Boshears is a '27 arm that has burst onto the scene this summer, showing a +8 mph improvement on his fastball in just a short, 9-month window from last fall to now. The wiry, 5-foot-11, 165 pounder now runs his best fastball up to 88 mph, while pitching at 85-87 with arm-side life on the heater. Boshears uses a simple leg lift to reach an athletic balance point, before a dynamic move down the mound that creates above-average extension, and a firm lead leg that allows for real whip late in the arm stroke. The arm circle is short & compact, with some of the best arm speed that we have identified in the class thus far. Boshears spins a low-70s sweeper (-1" IVB ; -8" HZ) to go along with a mid-70s change that averages 15.5" of horizontal. The overall feel for command comes in at an average clip for now, but the arm talent / athleticism within the delivery rivals any '27 in the state.

Body: 5-9, 145-pounds. Wiry, athletic build
Delivery: Raw delivery. Steps-and-throws from a low balance point. In-line shoulders, lands cross-fired. Dynamic finish. Significant upside in the operation.
Arm Action: RH. Loose, quick arm action from a high 3/4 slot. Arm works - will throw hard as he matures and cleans up delivery.
FB: T80, 78-80 mph. Slight ASR with developing FB command T2108, 2038 average rpm.
CB: 66-68 mph. Sweeping, more slurvey T1941, 1812 average rpm.
CH: 68-71 mph. Some arm-side fade. T2359, 2169 average rpm.
ATH: 7.55 runner in the 60.

Hit: RHH. Hits out of an athletic, balanced setup. Long strider with a tight upper body load. Heavy forward move. Turns the barrel on a level plane with quick hands. Gap to gap approach.
Power: 84 max exit velocity, averaged 69.0 mph. 308' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-82 mph. Quick arm that works from a high 3/4 slot - arm is best tool
Defense: Athletic movements with quick feet. Hands are sure and he exchanges quickly. Shows some body control.
ATH: 7.55 runner in the 60.
