2017 Spring Scout Blog:  Committed to Butler this morning, the 6-foot-8, 190 pound right-handed pitcher sat 82-84, touching 85 and 86 early.  Fastball has good down angle and late run.  Creates several groundballs and missed barrels.  Change-up was very effective on left-handed hitters featuring late fade and run.  Breaking ball has 10/4 shape at 68-70 with ability to be thrown for a strike and as an out pitch.  Works at a quick pace, consistently attacking the strike zone.  Arm action is long with some looseness.  Front leg swings out, lacks firmness.  Very athletic, lanky frame with plenty of room to fill in.  

Long, lanky, slim build at 6-foot-7, 185 pounds.  Fastball sat 80-82, up to 83-84 early with straight action. Breaking ball was 68-70 showing some depth.  Average arm speed, projectable frame. Short arm circle with a slight stab on the backside.  Inward turn in the delivery, has some rhythm.  Works across his body. Went 5.1 IP allowing 3H, 1BB while striking out 3.
