His curveball has swing-and-miss ability. His fastball came in at 72-74 mph with a max of 74 mph. He showed the ability to locate his curveball for a strike at 58-62 mph.
6/27/17: PITCHING: pitches from a 3/4 arm action with average arm speed. Regular effort with some rhythm in the delivery. Level to uphill shoulders, falls off towards 3B side. Lands square. Fastball shows occasional run. Breaking ball currently lacks identity. CH is thrown with near fastball arm speed and a stiff wrist showing occasional fade. At the plate hits from a slightly open setup. Lacks separation. Stride is short, average balance throughout the swing. Lower half needs refined. Level swing plane.
