2/14/15: 5-foot-11, 180 pound MIF possesses average hands with fluid feet.  Clean exchange.  Overall solid defender.  Across the diamond was 79 with some carry.  Ran a 7.95-60.  At the plate hits from a balanced setup with a wide base.  Smooth load with no stride.  Average bat speed with a good approach.  Tendency to over rotate the lower half.  High contact hitter produces hard line drives.  Registered an exit velo of 84 mph.  

6/25/14: 5 foot- 11 inches/165 pounds, 5.03-H-1^st, 75 mph across the infield, long arm action, throws on target. Fluid feet. Hits from a balanced stance with a short stride, fast bat, line drive type hitter.  On the mound he was 80-81 with heavy downhill plain, slows his arm to throw his curveball (69-70) with sharp break. Delivery has rhythm, athletic player.

12/28/13: 5-foot-11, 150 pound junior ran a 7.77 60.  Defensively he was 77 across the diamond from a loose, ¾ arm slot.  His throws are accurate and showed good carry.  Fields the ball clean with above average hands.  Footwork suggests he’s more a 2B.  At the plate starts wide with a smooth load and inward turn with the front leg.  Stride is short.  Swing path is level with average bat speed (75 mph exit velo).  Shows fluid rhythm throughout.  Line drive type hitter.  On the mound is athletic with a quick arm.  Fastball is a hard 76-78 mph with late run consistently in the zone.   Throws a 66-68 mph curveball with a sharp, sweeping action consistently in the zone.  His changeup is near fastball arm speed with arm side run and late life, good out pitch.  Matter is a good follow in the 2015 class.
