6/23/26
The 6-foot-3, 200 pound right-hander with projection remaining was one of the biggest winners on the mound. The arm is quick and compact working to a high 3/4 slot. Bryant moves down the mound well, creating above average extension on a heavy fastball that sat at 84-88.7 mph. The breaking ball has trended up nicely over 3+ year follow, now spinning in the 25-2600s with two-plane shape. Bryant froze batters with it, showing solid feel for the offering. Also flashed a 72-75 mph usable changeup with some fading action. Good follow for recruiters.

Downhill mover with strength in a physical, 6-foot-2, 200-pound frame. Gets down the mound well. Compact arm action that gets inverted, flips up on time at an above average clip. Some push caused occasional arm-side misses. Heavy fastball worked 87-88, and up to 89 with a low VAA look and some bore. I liked the advancements in the CB as it worked 73-75 with 2500+ spin. Killed spin on an upper-70s changeup that is at least average and a usable third. Strong jumps at this event; clear follow for the spring and summer for Division I recruiters.

3/18/25

Bryant has taken big strides on the mound as well as growing into his high-waisted, 6-foot-1, 185 pound frame. He gets down the mound well to produce above average to better extension to play up a 85-86 fastball that touched 87 with more in the tank. The slider is a softer sweeper at 68-71 for now, and he also showed a change in the mid-70s. He gets down the mound in a drop-and-drive fashion with a loose, inverted, quick arm following to a high 3/4 slot that comes from a lower release height.
