2017 Spring Scout Blog: Long, lean 6'5" right hander sat 83-84 mph with the fastball, mixing lots of off-speed in any count. The senior righty showed plus breaking ball at 69-71 with big downhill break, while also mixing in a cutter that was a little bit firmer at 74-75. Changeup was at 70 with good fade action. Good feel for all pitches and worked with good tempo on the mound. Long limbs get down the mound with some funk, lands closed, throwing across his body but creating deceptiveness. Arm works clean and quick into a high 3/4 release, gaining acceleration down the mound with the lower half. Good pitch IQ and mixes well throughout the order. Ran out of gas at the end but threw 6 innings, gave up 2 ER, on 7 hits and struck out 5. Central Michigan commit.

2/20/16: Long, lanky 6-foot-5, 185 pounds. Long, lean frame. Over the head pump delivery with a clean arm action. Pitches from a high ¾ slot. Lands closed, athletic finish. Fastball sits in the low 80’s, touching 85. Has some run on the 2 seamer at 78-79. Cutter was 76-78. Flashed a potential plus breaking ball with an 11/5 shape and sharp action. Changeup was 67-70 with some arm side run.
