Owen is a 6’1”, 175 lb. athletic junior. From the outfield he was 84 mph with good carry and accuracy. He moves well and shows good actions. On the mound he throws from a high ¾ arm slot with a loose arm action. His fastball shows good life with some run and late sink action at 81-83 mph. He throws a 60-62 mph breaking ball consistently for strikes. His changeup still needs to develop, but throws it for a strike at 68-70 mph. At the plate he shows a balanced approach with a toe touch. His swing path is a little long at times and slightly uphill. He shows the ability to hit for some pop. He shows some speed, running at 7.09 sixty at the event.
