Starts in a tall setup out of the stretch. Shows a controlled leg lift while his hands stay high. High effort and a low finish
FB: 81-82 straight
CB: 69-72 mph. shows some depth, 10/4-11/5 shape
CH: 71 mph with fade
2/23/2019: Nick Underwood, RHP, Avon HS, 2022, 6 foot 3, 180 pounds, throws from a high ¾ slot and a medium arm action. He is an interesting young guy because of the body, arm speed, and present stuff. Fastball was straight and sat 80-83, CB had short tight 11/5 shape and sat 71-74, and CH had some arm side fade and sat 71-73. Expect velocity to keep climbing and CB to be a solid out pitch in the near future. Nick is a good 2022 follow.
