9/10/17: 60 Time: 7.93, Position Velocity: OF-80, Exit Velocity: R-72,L-69. 5-foot-11, 140 pound switch hitting sophomore hits with balance from both sides of the plate. Short, choppy actions from the left side, using small leg lift to start swing. Level, swing path spraying line drives opposite field. More athletic with length from the right side, looks more advanced. Uses toe tap stride, slightly uphill bat path through contact. Gets good extension. More strength and bat speed to be developed. Loose, long arm action from the outfield, flashed some twitch. Plays well through the baseball with clean, fluid exchange.PITCHING: Wiry, loose frame on the mound, arm is raw but works. More strength and velo to develop, throws with good rhythm and tempo, repeats delivery. High ¾ slot with short, clean arm action, spins left down the mound, struggled out of stretch glove side. Fastball sat 72-74 around the plate, curveball had 10/4 break at 62-64, thrown with good arm speed, chance to be good pitch. Changeup was firm at 69-70, arm side fade. Mixed in sink/split grip that flashed some downward life, pitch will continue to develop with more arm speed and strength.
