Parker Osteen is a 2026 C with a strong, stocky 5-foot-11, 195-pound frame. A switch-hitter with real power from both sides, Osteen’s barrel plays heavy and his strength shows consistently in the box — posting a 101 mph max exit velocity (91.3 avg) with a 383’ peak distance. He’s an average defender behind the dish with pop times ranging 2.04–2.19 and a 77 mph arm. A 7.33 runner, Osteen’s value is driven by his bat — a physical hitter who impacts the baseball with authority and could profile as a middle-of-the-order presence at the next level.

Another strong, switch-hitting catcher with a strong showing - O'Steen shined in batting practice showing one of the heaviest barrels at the event. It's a low-effort operation from both sides, as Parker shows a slow-tempo, controlled gather and keeps his hands back as he makes his forward move to create stretch. The compact, 5-foot-11, 185 pounder reached 98.8 mph in his batting practice round and was on the barrel at a 65% clip. His receiving abilities have improved since looks last summer, and his best pop registered at a 2.00.

Switch-hitting catchers are at a premium and O'Steen fits that mold. A compact, 5-foot-11, 175 pounder - Parker's best tool currently is his bat and he projects to continue to be able to produce from both sides of the plate. The swing is short and quick from both sides and O'Steen swings a heavy barrel that should allow him to hit for juice when he fully matures. Behind the dish, O'Steen is a solid receiver with average arm strength.
