Positional Profile: RHP
Body: 6-8, 170-pounds. Highly-projectable frame. Long, loose levers, high-waisted with plenty of room for continued physical development.
Delivery: Fluid, athletic, tall and fall delivery. Repeats well given his extra-long levers.
Arm Action: RH. Loose, quick arm action, plays from a high 3/4 slot. Average extension of 6.54 feet on his fastball, according to TrackMan.
FB: T86, 84-85 mph. Comes out of the hand clean, late finish through the zone. Creates advanced tilt at times. Max spin rate of 2360 rpm. Max induced vertical break of 20.6 inches.
CB: 63-64 mph. Advanced spin metrics; 2531 max rpm with an average of 2423. 12/6 shape, above-average depth.
SPLT: 74-75 mph. Thrown with confidence. Feel for the bottom of the zone, late fade.
Listed at 6-foot-7, 165-pounds, with long, loose limbs, Olejnik oozes upside/projection and TrackMan numbers tended to back that up. The curveball played with big 12/6 depth and feel with spin upwards of 2400 RPM. His fastball comes out of the hand clean at 82-83 mph and touched 86 early in his outing. Given his extra long frame, Olejnik repeated well, threw strikes and controls his body. Seems to have plenty more velocity in the tank. High-ceiling 2021 arm still on the market.
Positional Profile: RHP. Highly-projectable right-handed arm in the 2021 class.
Body: 6-foot-7, 165-pounds. Long-limbed, highly-projectable frame.
Delivery: Smooth, tall and fall delivery works with rhythm; impressive repeatability given his long-limbed frame.
Arm Action: RH. Clean arm action, high 3/4 slot, loose and quick out front.
FB: T81, 80-81 mph. Comes out of the hand easy, thrown for strikes, works mostly straight.
CB: 62-65 mph. 12/6 to 11/5 shape, thrown with intent, feel and depth. Potential swing-and-miss offering in the future.
CH: 73-75 mph. Maintains arm speed, straight action, feel at the bottom of the zone.
5-foot-10, 115-pound, right-handed pitcher and first baseman. Recorded a 7.23 laser-timed 60. Defensively, long arm action from an over the top-to-high ¾ arm slot, clocked at 64 mph across the infield. Left-handed hitter, narrow, tall setup, leg kick stride, looks to pull, recorded a 62 mph exit velocity. Right-handed pitcher, flashed a long, loose arm action from a ¾ arm slot. Works on line and finishes athletically. Controlled the zone with a straight fastball, clocked at 63-65 mph. Curveball clocked at 50-52 mph. Straight changeup, near fastball arm speed, clocked at 58-61 mph.
