At 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, Louisville commit Tucker Biven showed why he was a big riser in the updated class of 2022 rankings at this weekend's PBR Midwest Fall Championships. The athletically talented two-way prospect was 7-16 on the weekend with a 2B, 3B and 5R scored. Though he didn't have his best stuff Sunday night, Biven was up to 93 and showed tremendous upside with his electric arm speed with a swing and miss slider.

+ Louisville commit, Tucker Biven (New Albany HS, IN), was standing out all weekend as an infielder and on Sunday he showed the potential to be a high-level two-way prospect thanks to his ability on the mound. The athletically-built, high-waisted, 6-foot-1, 170-pound, right-hander started for the Midwest Canes and opened eyes when the first pitch out of his hand was 91 mph. Biven proceeded to control the zone behind a fastball that sat anywhere from 85-88 mph and had feel for a short, late breaking 11/5 curveball. Biven’s arm is highly-athletic and quick with seemingly much more velocity to come down the road.
