8/4/17: Athletic 6-foot-4, 210 pound right-handed pitcher sat 86-88mph with the fastball commanded in the strike zone at the PBR Future Games. Down action on the fastball. Long legs, projectable frame. Short arm swing with a quick hand. Closed setup. Leads lower half down the mound with some rhythm. Stays in line, lands squared and soft. Breaking ball has 10/4 shape with some late tilt. Feel for the breaking ball in different counts. High follow in 2019 class.
9/24/16: 6-foot-3, 190 pound pitcher was up to 86 with the fastball in his outing. Raw delivery, projectable frame. Short arm swing, maintains direction. Front leg lacks extension. Works around lower half from a closed setup. Breaking ball showed flashes of potential with 10/4 shape. Long, lanky body with more velocity to come.
