'26 C Josiah Gustine (SB St. Joseph) put together a good day both at the plate and behind the dish. The 6-foot-0, 180 pounder peppered balls through the middle of the field in his round, with his best ball coming off the bat at 97 mph. Gustine starts in an athletic stance with active hands before making a shorter, controlled stride forward. The swing works level through the hitting zone with present bat speed. The athletic backstop showed off a solid arm from the crouch (76 mph) and had a pop time ranging from 2.04-2.09. The St. Joseph product is an above average reciever with solid catch-and-throw skills.
