2/15/26
Sturdy-framed southpaw at 6-foot-2, 230-pounds. Worked from a simple delivery with a methodical lift and keeps the ball moving within uninterrupted arm action. The 83-85+ fastball is powered by arm strength as he rotates in one piece. He spins the ball very well, averaging 2350 on a heavy heater and 2500+ on a 75-77 mph slider that is his best present offering. The SL looked more like a chase-pitch in this look, but there is some bite to the action that should play off the heater for S/M. He rounded the arsenal with an upper-70s change that fit his pitch mix and appears usable. The control was average and he has had success at the varsity level for Dekalb. Good follow in the class.

Miles Brockhouse is a 2027 LHP/1B with a physical 6-foot-3, 235-pound frame and two-way intrigue. On the mound, he’s a methodical mover who rides his back hip with a balanced finish, working from a loose, high ¾ slot. His fastball sits 83–84 mph (T84) with some arm-side life (T2420 rpm), and he spins a pair of breaking balls— a two-plane 72–73 mph curveball and a sweeping 73–74 mph slider (T2666 rpm) that flashes swing-and-miss potential. The changeup (76–78 mph) fades with solid arm speed and spin reduction. At the plate, Brockhouse hits from a wide, balanced stance with a short, quick stride, flashing explosive bat speed that produced a 94 mph max exit velocity (87.8 avg) and 335' max distance. There’s real strength in the frame, and his ability to impact the game both ways makes him a strong follow in the class.
