Lewis was one of the more athletic prospects in attendance, pairing 6.7 speed with a 101 mph peak exit while looking the part at 6-foot-3, 185-pounds. He flashed big bat strength in batting practice with the aforementioned triple digit peaks, though more of an inconsistent look there, but follow with a pair of in-game barrels. Setting up in a strong base with loose hands, Lewis make an early toe tap stride before his hands climb to launch as he strides forward. A front-foot hitter at times, when things sync there is thunder in the barrel that will likely only enhance with further polish. His footwork on the infield is raw-but-athletic, and he shows the arm and hands to stick on the left-side. Yet another infielder from this group that should garner attention in August, with Lewis' athleticism and upside providing the bulk of the value that he brings.

Quinn Lewis, 2028, SS, Northview: I saw Lewis on a Saturday morning versus Greencastle, and he turned in an impressive early-season look. The 6-foot-4, 195-pound frame is athletic and highly projectable, and he looks the part in every sense. Lewis went 3-for-3 with a triple to left-center and two singles to the pull-side. He hits from a balanced stance with quiet hands and a simple forward move. The path is direct with present bat speed, though it can get steep at times. There’s some rawness to the operation in total, but the upside is evident with clear power potential from the right-side. Defensively, he showed athletic, easy actions at shortstop with a clean arm and above-average arm strength for the age. Overall, Lewis is a premier athlete with a super high ceiling and a name to know in the 2028 class moving forward.

Lewis is a name that I've followed for a good part of a year and I was excited to see his name on this roster coming into the event. He didn't disappoint as his 6-foot-4, 195-pound frame jumped out during check-in and he followed it up by turning in an event-best 6.79 60-yard dash. The athletic traits excite, moving his massive frame well in both a straight line, and during infield evaluations where he showed as one of the top defenders in attendance. He moves well laterally with clean movement patterns and raw-but-athletic footwork. The arm works clean and there is some glove-to-hand feel apparent. Lewis reached 85 across the diamond, and that number likely ticks further once he is fully entrenched in baseball (in the middle of basketball now; currently averaging 16 PPG for 14-4 Northview). Offensively, he covers the box with a wide, closed setup with high hands to start. He takes a short load before a heavier forward move leads a direct, steep-at-times path. He was able to create some backspun contact while rotating very well (21+ rot. acceleration avg) and flashing big bat speed (77.7 mph max). His exits peaked at 96.2 mph, and I think there are fixable mechanics that could unlock even more power and consistency moving forward. In total, there is some rawness to the game now, but Lewis is a high-level athlete with a pristine frame and solid tools across the board. High follow that I will be seeing early & often in 2026; chance to end up as one of the top infield prospects in this 2028 class if tools/athleticism continues to trend and polishing occurs.
