2/18/17 - Mooers is a 5-foot-10 130-pound left-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2019 class. Mooers comes from a high three quarters arm slot, lean and projectctable frame, loose arm action, fastball at 73-75 mph, some with slight run, throws for strike, breaking ball at 60-62 mph, 1-to-7 break, near fastball arm speed, showed some feel, change up at 67-70 mph, occasional arm side release.
11/1/15 - Mooers is a 5-foot-7 110-pound left-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2019 class. Lean build with loose arm action, threw strikes with three pitches, worked fastball 68-69 mph, touches 70 mph, slight arm side run, 1-to-7 shaped curveball at 56-57 mph, change up with sink at 61-63 mph, body stays under control during delivery with slight tuck at balance point.
