Cavender is a lanky 6-foot-1 160-pound right-handed hitting third baseman in Kansas’ 2022 class.  He ran a 4.39 home to first and had a 71 mph exit velocity.  At the plate, open stance, quick tempo in load, in line stride, quick bat speed with high finish, middle to pull side contact during hitting evals.  On the infield, high three quarters arm slot, quick to the ball with footwork, fluid transfer, 70 mph positional velocity,

1/13/19 - Cavender is a 6-foot 135-pound right-handed hitting third baseman and pitcher in Kansas’ 2022 class. He ran a 4.60 home to first and has an exit velocity of 80 mph.  At the plate, balanced stance, loud rhythm in hands, short leg lift with in line stride, aggressive swing, gap to gap line drives hitting evals.  On the infield, 71 mph infield velocity, high three quarters arm slot, short arm circle, clean transfer on time with footwork, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Cavendar comes from a high three quarters arm lot, slight rotation in hips during leg lift, lands slightly open, finishes in athletic position, fastball worked 72-75 mph, breaking ball was 60-64 mph, gradual 12-to-6 action, change up at 60-63 mph.
