4/10/14 - When you play centerfield and hit in the three-hole for a 6A school odds are you are good at baseball, which is clearly the case with Robinson.  He is a tall, strong, athletic 6-foot-2, 185-pound center fielder and, along with Kelley, gives Northwest two Class of 2015 very athletic right-hand hitting outfield prospects.  Robinson showed quick footwork and exchanges and a strong, accurate arm in pre-game outfield drills. During the game, hitting in the three-hole for Northwest, Robinson showed strike zone discipline and bat speed – reaching base three times with two walks and a single to left field.  He also used his speed well, with a 4.52 home-to-first time on the turn and stealing a base.  Robinson also plays basketball for Northwest.  He will be playing for the KC Barnstormers this summer, a team loaded with prospects and, in particular, a talent-deep junior class.
