6/20/17 - Rice is a 6-foot-1 155-pound left-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2019 class.  He ran a 7.26 60 and a 4.53 home to first.  He has an exit velocity of 83 mph.  At the plate, barreled up ball gap to gap consistently, loose hands, smooth load, repeats swing, feel for the barrel, balanced swing.  In the outfield, 74 mph positional velo, high three quarters release, clean glove to hand transfer, fluid footwork, momentum through the catch, mostly accurate throws, projectable frame.
