Positional Profile: 1B/RHP
Body: 6-foot-1, 205-pound stocky and well-built frame.
Hit: RHH. At the plate starts with an open stance and quick weight shift into the back side. Uses a two tap stride that gets back to neutral. Slightly arm-barred and stiffer hands. Gets lots of body lean to try and create lift. Swing is rotational and uses a pull side approach. Has some strength at contact.
Power: 90 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. INF-71 mph. ¾ arm slot with short arm action.
Defense: In the infield shows quick exchanges and active feet. Fields the ball out in front of the body. Moves well laterally. Developing feel for glove action and soft hands.
Run: 4.51 runner from home to first.
Delivery: Up tempo rocker style delivery. Keeps hand low and exchanges low near the belt. Leans forward on balance point. Drives directionally down the mound towards the plate with a balanced finish. Repeats well.
Arm Action: High ¾ arm slot with shorter arm action on the backside.
FB: 74-76 mph, slight cutting action.
CB: 63-65 mph, short break that backs up on right handed hitters at times and shows some with decent downward depth.
CH: 69-72 mph, straight action with good hand speed.
