2/12/17- Schultz is a 6-foot 230-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Kansas’ 2018 class.  He ran a 7.93 later timed 60 and a 4.75 home to first.  He has a 90 mph exit velo and has a strong build. At the plate, simple and repeatable swing mechanics, aggressive with bat speed and loose hands, mostly middle to pull contact during hitting evals, showed some feel for the barrel.  Behind the plate, 2.14 to 2.19 pop times, 69 mph positional velo, high three quarters release, wide base in stance, quick exchange with soft hands, somewhat accurate throws.

5/31/16 - Schultz is a strong 6-foot 235-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Kansas 2018 class.  He ran a 7.99 60 and a 5.02 home-to-first. His exit velo was 83 mph. At the plate, simple and repeatable swing, aggressive swing with solid consistent contact during battng practice, quick bat speed, power to pull side, level path, doubled twice and singled twice in game action.  Behind the plate, pop times between 2.02 and 2.27, one of the top pop times for the event, positional velo of 72 mph, high three quarters release, momentum through the catch, clean catch and throw.
1/18/16 - Schultz is a strong 6-foot 225-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Kansas’ 2018 class. Schultz ran a 4.74 home-to-first and had an exit velo of 80 mph.  At the plate, starts in balanced position, takes aggressive swing, fast hands and bat speed, short stride, little movement in body, middle approach. Behind the plate, pop times between 2.20 and 2.44, 70 mph positional velo, quick exchange and fluid footwork, somewhat accurate throws, over the top release, momentum through the throw.
