2/21/16 - Patrie is an athletic 6-foot-3 205-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Kansas’ 2017 class from Olathe North HS.  He ran a 4.19 home to first and has an exit velo of 86 mph. At the plate, balanced set up, smooth rhythm in pre swing, in-lind stride, hard hit line drives gap-to-gap during batting practice.  Behind the plate, quick catch and throw, 1.97 to 2.03 pop times, one of the top pop times of the event, 79 mph positional velo, momentum through the catch, mostly accurate throws on a line. 

9/27/15 - Patrie is a 6-foot-3 200-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Kansas’ 2017 class.  Patrie ran a 7.28 60 and was 4.66 down the line.  During hitting evaluations, Patrie had an exit velo of 83 mph, starting in balanced position, loads in lower half, with early stride, showed pop to both gaps, consistent quality contact.  Behind the plate, Patrie had pop times of 1.94 to 2.03, accurate throws, over-the-top release, quick footwork, quick exchange and release.  Patrie shows a high ceiling with athletic frame and ability.
