12/17/17 - Arscott is a 6-foot 200-pound left-handed hitting first baseman in Kansas’ 2021 class.  He ran a 4.88 home to first and has a 76 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts in thin base, short stride, slight natural lift in swing path, showed feel for the barrell, flashed pull side pop, middle to pull side power.  On the infield, 69 mph positional velocity, over the top release, clean transfer, aggressive to the ball with fluid footwork, soft hands. On the mound, Arscott works from a high three quarters arm slot, in line stride, slight uphill tilt in shoulders, fastball at 72-74 mph, some with arm side run, curveball has 12-to-6 shape, 61-64 mph, throws change up with near fastball arm speed at 67-70 mph.
