2/21/16 - Reed is a 6-foot-1 175-pound left-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2017 class from Olathe South HS.  He ran a 4.01 home to first, one of fastest LHH times of the event, and has an exit velo of 81 mph. At the plate, physical hitter with aggressive swing, athletic stance, smooth load, power to pulls side, body stays under control. In the outfield, aggressive to the ball with momentum through the catch, 80 mph positional velo, one of top velos for the event, arm works, athletic actions.

10/31/15 - Reed is a 6-foot-1 175-pound left-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2017 class.  Ran a 7.48 60 with an 81 mph exit velo.  At the plate, takes an aggressive swing, fast bat speed, strong hands, middle to pull line drives during batting practice, uses toe touch for timing, ran a 4.55 home-to-first.  In the outfield, over the top release, 81 mph positional velo, loose/quick arm speed, quick footwork, clean exchange, plays through the ball. Tall and lean frame with projection.

1/19/15 - Reed is a left-hand hitting outfielder that attends Olathe South HS in Olathe, KS. 5-foot-11, 170-pound frame. Class of 2017. Balanced set-up at the plate, minimal hand load, short bat path. Takes an absolute hack, very aggressive swing, backside fires in sync with hands, finishes with extension, made hard contact in the gaps. Ran a 4.50 home-to-first.  In the outfield fielded the ball out front, clean exchanges, high three-quarters arm slot, 79 throwing velocity, throws had carry, mostly accurate throws.
