During batting practice, Hutchison has an aggressive swing with a minimal hand load, in line stride, creates leverage with a strong front side, quick hands, hard contact to LF. During game action he recorded a single. Defensively, Hutchison shows good actions on the infield, clean arm action, ¾ arm slot, good range, positional velo of 80 mph, very accurate throws.
