5/7/15 - Schaake is a thin, athletic 6-foot, 155-pound right-hand hitting shortstop for Rock Creek HS in Westmoreland, KS. Unsigned senior. Showed quick feet, quick exchanges, easy three-quarters arm action and overall athletic infield actions during pre-game infield. Accurate arm. When game sped up he handled it with ease at shortstop. At the plate, showed a simple, line drive swing, but lacks strength at present. Delivered line-drive single to right field in four at bats. Hitting .433 with eight doubles, two triples, a home run and 15 stolen bases this spring.  Easy, efficient runner, 4.38-second home-to-first from the right-side. Projects defensively as a college shortstop as he adds size and strength to his wide-shouldered, lanky frame.
