Body Type: 6-foot, 210-pound strong frame. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Uptempo, easy delivery. Tall/fall guy that creates good direction down the mound. Arm is clean through a high-¾ slot. Fastball: 73-75 mph. Ball comes out well and easy. Should see easy velocity gains down the road. Also flashed a cutter. Curveball: 60-63 mph. 10/4 shaped wrinkle of a breaking ball. Not a big breaker but spins it firm, giving it depth and enough action to miss barrels. Changeup: 61-63 mph. Didn’t throw the pitch often but when he did it looked to be an above average offering. Maintains arm speed with the pitch that has some late dive to it. Pitchability: Impressive. Moved the ball around the zone and showed the ability to locate multiple pitches in the zone. Role: Starter. Big, physical kid with a low effort delivery and feel for the zone. Continued development of the changeup should cement his starter status.
