Lim is usally one of the smaller guys on the field with a 5'5" 140 lbs. frame, but he usually ends up making a positive impact on the game, and last Friday was no different. The former Future Gamer and Louisiana-Lafayette recruit caught a barrel in his first at-bat that ended up being a line drive right at the centerfielder. He attempted to lay down a drag bunt for a hit in second at-bat, and then adjusted to get on top of a pitch up in the zone in his third at-bat, for a line drive single to centerfield. Lim then showed off his speed by swiping second base two pitches later to finish the game 1-3 with a SB.

Positional Profile: SS/OF Former Future Gamer.
Body: 5-5, 131-pounds. Athletic.
Hit: SH. Starts in an upright stance with a slightly wider base and rhythm in his hands, uses a simple load and stride. Quick hands take a direct path to contact and he stays flat through extension, rotates lower-half well and gets the most out of his frame, gap to gap type hitter with sneaky power to the pull-side.
Power: 93 max exit velocity, averaged 83.6 mph. 310' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-86 mph. Longer arm swing with a high 3/4 release.
Defense: Plays low to the ground and gets good jumps off the bat, receives out front with soft hands and funnels to right ear, cut angles on plays to left and right and showed a quick release with the ability to throw from different arm angles.
ATH: 6.62 runner in the 60. 1.63 and 3.70 in the 10 and 30 yard splits.

RH: Starts in a balanced and slightly wider stance with a simple load and stride RH: Stays flat and inside the ball to contact with level extension and a one-handed finish, quick hands, works gap to gap on a line, blistered a FB in game to the left fielder 61.9 mph bat speed with 18 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 91 max exit velocity, averaged 83.8 mph. 311' max distance.
Arm: RH. OF-85 mph. Short and quick AA, high 3/4 release.
Defense: Soft hands, receives the ball out front and clean into a funnel, caught every ball with two hands except the bounder play, moves well laterally and coming in, accurate throws on all plays across the diamond.
ATH: 6.56 runner in the 60.

Hits: SH. Right- Starts in a wider and balanced stance with hands held above shoulder height, uses simple load and stride to get to center. Flat path to contact with level extension working gap to gap. Left- Starts in a wider and balanced stance with hands held above shoulder height, uses a modified leg kick load and stride. Slightly uphill path with extension to match, works gap to gap. Smoked an opposite field double in gameplay.
