2025 PREP BASEBALL LOUISIANA PRESEASON ALL-STATE TEAM

PITCHERS

Andrew Ferguson RHP / OF / West Monroe, LA / 2025

The former Future Gamer and Louisiana Tech recruit went 9-2 with a 1.35 ERA and 77 K's across 67 IP, and held opponents to a .147 BAA.  Ferguson has had an impressive run so far during his career with the Rebels, as he's been a part of two State Championship teams and owns a career record of 28-4 with a career 1.61 ERA.

Sawyer Pruitt RHP / Live Oak, LA / 2025

A University of Louisiana-Lafayette recruit; Pruitt returns for a third straight season as the Eagles ace.  Last year, he finished his junior campaign with a 6-3 overall record and 1.40 ERA with 81 K's across 53 IP.

Bradyn Cupit LHP / West Monroe, LA / 2026

The LSU recruit is the second West Monroe Rebel on this list and will look to repeat his fantastic sophomore season.  Cupit finished the 2024 season with a 9-1 record and 1 save with a 1.57 ERA and 89 K's.  He earned the win in the State Title game for West Monroe against Barbe, after tossing 5 1/3 IP giving up only 1 ER on 2 H with 4 BB's and 5 K's.

Cade Durbin RHP / SS / Parkview Baptist, LA / 2025

Durbin is another former Future Gamer who makes this list, after a jam-up junior campaign for the Eagles.  The University of Louisiana-Lafayette recruit went 7-1 last season with a 1.30 ERA and tallied 49 K's across 37 IP.

Bryce Wilson LHP / 1B / Chalmette, LA / 2025

The Louisiana-Lafayette recruit quietly had a dominating junior season for the Owls last spring.  Wilson finished 2024 with a 10-4 record and 1.25 ERA with an oustanding 122 K's.

CATCHERS

Presley Courville C / OF / Barbe, LA / 2025

Courville battled a hamstring injury for a good portion of last season, but is back 100% healthy, which is good news for the Bucs.  The Texas recruit logged 40 AB's and hit at a .400 clip last season with 12 RBI and struck out only one time.  He is also an elite defender behind the dish and one of the more athletic backstops around.

Andrew Clapinski C / Catholic BR - Baton Rouge, LA / 2025

There were many standout performers for the Bears last spring with Clapinski being one of them who seemed to always come through in the clutch.  The LSU-Eunice recruit finished last season with a .396 AVG, 6 HR, 14 2B, 1 3B, and 45 RBI.  His 6 HR and 45 RBI were both good for tops on the entire Catholic BR team.

Connor Walker C / OF / Sam Houston, LA / 2025

One of the top defensive backstops in the state; Walker had an impressive junior campaign at the plate as well.  The former Future Gamer and McNeese State recruit hit .384 with 4 HR, 11 2B, 3 3B, and 32 RBI for the Broncos last spring.

INFIELDERS

Jack Ruckert SS / RHP / Baton Rouge Catholic, LA / 2025

Ruckert got off to a hot start last spring and never cooled down on the Bears journey to claiming the LHSAA Select Division I State Title and their first National Title.  The LSU recruit hit .452 last season with 5 HR, 15 2B, 2 3B, 40 RBI, 40 R, and 22 SB.  His 15 2B and 22 SB were both good for tops on the entire Bears team.

Ryan Darrah SS / 3B / Brother Martin, LA / 2025

Darrah was voted the Catholic League Hitter of the Year as a sophomore in 2023 and kept on hitting last season as a junior.  The former Future Gamer and Arizona State recruit hit at a .423 clip last spring with 1 HR, 11 2B, 39 R, and 22 SB.

Casey McCoy SS / 2B / Dutchtown High School, LA / 2025

McCoy bursted onto the scene as a sophomore for the Griffins, which earned him an invite to the 2023 Future Games.  The Louisiana Tech recruit was a 1st Team All-District and LBCA All-State selection last spring as a junior, and will be a key part of Dutchtown's success this season.

Marshall Louque SS / RHP / Lutcher, LA / 2025

Louque could've been listed as an infielder, pitcher, or utility on this list, as he's easily the top two-way talent in the state.  The LSU recruit put up gaudy numbers last season, as he hit .413 with 7 HR, 11 2B, 4 3B, and 39 RBI, while also going 8-2 with a 1.76 ERA and 92 K's across 67 2/3 IP on the mound.

OUTFIELDERS

Christian Turner OF / 2B / Haughton High School, LA / 2025

The Arkansas recruit was impressive on the circuit last summer, after a phenomenal junior campaign for the Haughton Bucs.  Turner hit at a .406 clip with 7 HR, 40 RBI, and 16 SB last season as a junior.

Noah Lewis OF / 3B / Catholic, LA / 2025

Lewis bursted onto the scene at the 2023 Future Games and didn't slow down last spring, on route to helping the Bears claim their first-ever National Title.  The University of Louisiana-Lafayette recruit finished last season with a .421 AVG, 7 2B, 14 RBI, 41 R, and 11 SB.

Travis Adams OF / 3B / Sterlington High School, LA / 2025

The University of Louisiana-Monroe recruit was one of the biggest surprises of last spring, after having a monster junior campaign for the Panthers.  Adams hit at a .381 clip with 8 HR, 13 2B, 2 3B, and 36 RBI last season for Sterlington.

Braylen Montgomery OF / Walker, LA / 2026

The former Future Gamer and Oklahoma recruit owns some of the best raw tools that the state has to offer with a 6.62 laser-timed 60, 94 mph outfield velocity, and 102.5 mph max exit velocity.  Montgomery had an impressive sophomore season last spring for the Wildcats, finishing with a .321 AVG and .401 OBP with 7 HR, 38 RBI, 39 R, and 19 SB.

UTILITY

Joshua Lim SS / OF / THE DUNHAM SCHOOL, LA / 2025

Lim is one of the more versatile defenders in the state, and will likely see time on the infield and in the outfield this spring.  The University of Louisiana-Lafayette recruit and former Future Gamer hit .406 last spring with 4 HR, 7 2B, 4 3B, 22 RBI, 41 R, 25 BB, and 13 SB.

Easton Sanders 1B / RHP / Glenbrook, LA / 2025

The Louisiana Tech recruit was a major reason why the Apaches made a run all the way to the State Title game last spring.  Sanders was named the District 1-1A MVP last season, after hitting .412 with 1 HR, 7 2B, 15 RBI, and 19 R, while also going 8-2 on the mound with a 1.49 ERA and 92 K to only 24 BB.

William Patrick OF / C / St. Frederick, LA / 2025

The former Future Gamer and LSU recruit hit .429 with 3 HR, 29 RBI, and 15 SB last season for St. Frederick, and has played all over the diamond for the Warriors during the course of his career, as he's seen time in the outfield, infield, and even behind the plate.  This season, he'll likely be the team's starting shortstop and will pitch, before he makes the move to the outfield long-term at LSU.

Bryce Robinson SS / OF / St. Augustine, LA / 2025

Robinson is one of the most intriguing two-way talents in the state, thanks to a uber-projectable 6'3" frame and a loose arm stroke that produces a fastball into the low-90's.  The Tulane recruit is also a talented hitter, as he hit .417 with 40 total hits and 35 stolen bases last season for St. Augustine.
