6'1" 170 lbs. lean frame with a ton of room to add strength in the future.  The former Future Gamer did what he's done his entire career and that's deliver a quality start for Chalmette.  Wilson got the start against Hahnville and was in complete control the entire time.  Working off the third base side of the rubber, he worked through a simple and repeatable delivery, using a compact arm stroke to release the ball from a lower-3/4 slot.  Wilson keeps a strong front side after glove break, which allows him to hide the ball well from opposing hitters.  His FB got up to 90 mph early, sitting in the mid-upper 80's, and he was able to drive his four-seamer to the glove-side, while also being able to sink his two-seamer to the arm-side, and he did so consistently to both RHH's and LHH's.  Wilson paired his FB with a sweeping 75-77 mph SL that flashed late bite down in the zone and has the makings of a future swing & miss offering.  In an extremely tough losing effort, the Louisiana-Lafayette recruit tossed a complete-game and only gave up 2 ER on 7 H with 1 BB and 11 K's.

Positional Profile: LHP/1B One of the top uncomitted southpaws in the state and a former Future Gamer.
Body: 6-1, 155-pounds. Athletic and wiry.
Delivery: Starts way off to the 3B side of the rubber and stays there throughout an athletic and repeatable delivery, hides ball well, strides on line and finishes square to his target.
Arm Action: LH. Clean arm action with a 3/4-low 3/4 release.
FB: T89, 86-88 mph. Low VAA, FB rides through the zone really well, commands to all quadrants in any count. T2562, 2434 average rpm.
CB: 72-74 mph. "1-7" shape with good feel, lands for strikes as a get me over and can also bury with two strikes, comfortable back dooring or going back leg T2285, 2134 average rpm.

Delivery: Starts on 3B side of rubber and stays there throughout a simple and repeatable delivery with minimal effort
Arm Action: LH. Brings ball down and back up in an average arm circle, releases from a 3/4 slot
FB: T83, 82-83 mph. Commanded to the arm side, down in the zone with some run T2374, 2306 average rpm.
CB: 69-71 mph. "2-8" shape with good lateral break and some depth T2137, 1992 average rpm.
SL: 71-71 mph. Short and tight lateral break with some depth T2101, 2062 average rpm.
CH: 74-76 mph. Good fade with some arm-side sink T1701, 1631 average rpm.

Hits: RHH. Wider and balanced stance, toe-tap load and stride Inside/out path to contact with an uphill two-handed finish, works mostly middle to pull-side
Power: 80 max exit velocity, averaged 69 MPH. 275' max distance.
Arm: LH. INF-71 mph.Short with a low 3/4 release
Defense: Moved well around 1B bag, turns the double play with accurate throws
Run: 7.49 runner in the 60.
