Lynch is a projectable 6-foot-3, 185 pound right-handed pitching prospect. He works primarily out of the stretch. He uses a controlled leg lift to get into a balanced position at the top. He separates well and uses an over-the-top slot to attack hitters. His fastball sit 82-83 MPH with downward tilt out of that high slot. The breaking ball has tightened up from the one he threw last year. The pitch sits 69-70 MPH with hard, late action. He’s also polished up a change-up that sits 73-74 MPH with late run.

Lynch has done a lot of work over the past couple months. It’s obvious that he’s worked on developing his secondary stuff, to go along with adding arm-speed to the fastball.

8/12/20

6-foot-3, 185-pound right-handed pitcher. The fastball sat 77-78 mph and was downhill at times. The spin pitch is a breaking ball that sat 62-65 mph. The pitch is big in shape as it needs more fastball hand speed added to it. The changeup was 68-70 mph and showed minimal fade at times. The delivery is online and the slot is above 3/4. The lift is methodical and his tempo is slow throughout. The tracking of the front shoulder needs to be online until foot strike. The glove is pulled across the hitters face, taking him off line from the target.

6-foot-3, 185-pound right-handed pitcher. The fastball sat 76-77 mph and at times was downhill. The spin pitch was 59-61 mph and big in shape. The addition of fastball hand speed to the breaking ball will help it immensely. The changeup was 71-73 mph and developing. The delivery is online and the slot is above 3/4. The lift is repeated, the direction comes offline to soon, as he spins through the leg drive to the plate. The arm is clean out front. He displayed a bit of head lean and forward lean as he lifted the leg to start the process.

Lanky 6-foot-3, 185 pound right-handed pitcher uses a high over the top slot to go after hitters.  The delivery is controlled and balanced.  He posts over his back leg, gathering at the midline before heading down the mound.  As he heads down the mound, the long limbs make it seem like he’s on top of hitters.  The fastball sat 76-77 mph with some late action.  He featured a big over-hand breaking ball at 63-64 mph.  This was a good pitch for him.  It gave him a pich on a different plane to go along with the fastball that jumps on hitters.  He also mixed in a change-up at 69 mph that looks to still be developing.

12/08/18

6-foot-1, 155-pound long and lanky right-handed pitcher. The fastball touched 71 mph, arm side run to the pitch. The command of the fastball needs to improve as he matures. The spin pitch touched 59 mph, big in shape, needs additional fastball hand speed added to the pitch. The changeup is a work in progress, sitting at 64 mph. The delivery is online with the feet, above ¾ in slot. The glove side has a hard pull to it as he makes his way into foot strike, this causes him to come offline and spin off. Small head tilt as the arm comes through to release the ball.
