Mikey Mcgee: OF, (2025) Worcester Academy, MA. 6-foot-4, 185-pound projectable athletic frame. Projectable at the plate, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 98 mph. (65.5 mph bat speed average). (20.6 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a small stride. Bat speed was developing explosive, displayed a loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Created loud contact and found lots of barrels. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Projectable and athletic,  his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 87 mph; had athletic developing footwork, a natural exchange, and soft hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. Clocked a 60 time of 7.03 at the event.

(20.91 mph hand speed average). Starts in a wide stance with a controlled load, then uses a short stride. Had above average bat speed, simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Smooth in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 76 mph; had athletic footwork, a clean exchange, and sure hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a long arm action with a high ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.6. Athletic on the mound, used an over-the-top arm angle with a loose arm action while showing developing arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher who shows some effort. Tall balance point with falling off shoulders. Lands open with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 68-71 mph; shows running action and control around the zone with straight movement. (Max spin 1950; Avg 1787). His 11/5 curveball (59-61) has sweeping action and glove side command. (Max spin 2271; Avg 2111).

Hit: (RHH) Above average. Started in a wide stance with a controlled load, then used a short stride. Above average bat speed. Good extension on his finish, simple swing. Gap to gap approach. 

Power: 89 mph exit velocity, average 79.75 mph. 64.34 mph bat speed average. 20.91 mph hand speed average.

Defense:  (OF) Sure hands, athletic footwork, clean exchange. Smooth.  Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. 

Arm: 76 mph outfield velocity. Long arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

Speed: 7.60 (60-yard).

Pitching:  Athletic. up-tempo delivery, some effort. over-the-top arm angle, developing arm speed, loose arm action. Consistent balance point, falling off shoulders, lands open, a falling off finish.

FB: T71. 68-71 mph. (Max spin 1950;  Avg 1787). Around the zone accuracy, running action, straight movement. 

CB: 59-61 mph. Glove side control, sweeping action, 11/5 shape. (Max spin 2271; Avg 2111). 

6-foot, 140-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Ran a 4.71 dig to first at the workout. The hands are clean in the infield, needs to continue to remain active with his feet through the process. The glove is soft and the actions are athletic. Threw 65 mph across the diamond. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 78 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot gains ground as the ball approaches. The path is long, casted out and around, due primarily to lack of strength. The hands work free and the actions are loose, just needs to get stronger as he matures. Good follow in the years to come
