Maryland Top Prospect Games West

Body: 6’2’’, 160 pounds. Long, lean, athletic, projectable frame. 
Hit: RHH. Hits from a tall, square set-up at the plate. Quiet load and short stride with hands pre-set. Short and direct to the ball with a level swing path that gets slightly uphill at times. Quick hands and quick bat speed through the zone with some lower half involvement. Balanced throughout the swing with a strong two-handed finish. Solid rounds of BP working with a gap-to-gap line drive approach.
Power: 86 mph exit velocity per TrackMan during BP. Showed some power to the alleys with more projected. 
Arm: RH. INF - 67 mph. Throws with shorter arm action from a high three-quarter slot. 
Defense: Plays through the ball in the infield fielding it out in front, presenting the glove early. Showed quick exchanges and smooth, clean actions on the double play feed. Athletic base and controlled approach. Really solid defensively. 
Run: 7.35 60-yard time.

Preseason All-State Session III

Positional Profile: SS/3B
Body: 6’2”, 160 pounds. Long, athletic, projectable frame. 
Hit: RHH. Hits from a tall, balanced, square stance at the plate with hands pre-set. Small load and short stride. Short to the ball with a level swing path. Showed quick hands and bat speed through the zone. Keeps head down on the ball through contact and stays behind well. Strong lower half involvement and gets great extension through and past contact. Hard two-handed finish. Smooth swing and really nice middle of the field, gap-to-gap approach during BP.
Power: 86 mph exit velocity from the tee. Easy pop, ball jumps off the bat well. Power to the alleys with more developing. 
Arm: RH. INF - 68mph. Throws with short arm action from a mid to high three-quarter slot. 
Defense: Plays with active feet and works through the ball in the infield. Moves well showing range and quick, clean exchanges. Smooth double play feeds and ability to throw from various arm slots depending on the type of play. 
Run: 4.63 home-to-first time.

2/23/19

MD Preseason All State

Projectable frame at 6-foot-1, 145-pounds. Hits from an athletic stance from the right side using a small stride forward landing slightly closed. Flat line-drive path and bat is quick through the zone showing pull-side tendency. Displayed balance throughout the swing and lower half finished with some explosion. Exit velocity was 79 mph. Direct approach to the ball in the infield. catching it out front. Clean exchanges and short quick arm action throwing from a three-quarter slot at 67 mph. Home-to-first time was 4.33.
