7.20.15 - Jaret Bennet was up to 85 on the mound on Sunday. Showing a free arm action and quick arm speed. Getting around the ball slightly on his breaking ball but has shown in winter better hand positioning and ability to spin it.
7.9.15 - was 83-85 with his athletic delivery and sound arm action. Breaking ball was 65 mph with 2/8 shape. More consistent hand positioning should improve the rotation as earlier in the year pitch had potential power action. Change up was 76 mph.
5.28.15 - 2016 Jaret Bennett hits from an open stance and level swing through the zone.  Hits ball to all fields and fights for contact. Has been getting most interest as a left-handed pitcher, but shows potential as a two-way player in the right program.
2.21.15 - Jaret Bennett is a 6-foot-1 185-pound LHP/1B.  As a position player, Bennett showed fluid footwork with average feet and a quick exchange.  He made accurate and consistent throws from his high ¾ arm slot at a velocity of 76 mph. At the plate gets a little long at times with his swing with good balance and smooth load.  Has a level barrel that stays in the zone with an exit velocity of 77 mph.  Bennett projects well on the mound.  Pitching from a high ¾ arm slot, he showed good athleticism in his delivery and a fluid rhythm.  His free and quick arm displayed a velocity of 84 mph maxing out at 86 with run and downhill action.  He threw a 2/8 breaking ball with near fastball arm speed and late break. Throws a split with gradual break at 68 mph and showed feel for a changeup with late fade.  Breaking ball has potential to be power pitch.  The very projectable pitcher displays early flashes of being a power arm from the left side and potentially a two way talent. A very intriguing prospect in the 2016 class.
1.21.15 - Jaret Bennett 2016 (Colonel Richardson HS) is a 6-foot-1, 185-pound LHP with a good frame and nice projection.  He sat in the 83-85 range on the mound and showed a split/fork in the 64-67 range.  The ball came out well from his ¾ arm slot .  For an early bullpen showed decent command of his fastball.  Would like to see more of his secondary stuff in game action.
