8.4.16 -  John Dempsey is a player. Soft, quick hands in the infield and quick exchange to release with accurate, consistent throws across the diamond. Great reads from the infield. Velocity of 76 mph across the diamond. Slightly open set up, direct path to the ball. can get out of balance at times, but like his approach at the plate. Exit velocity of 81 and ran a 7.11 60-yard dash.

3.5.16 - 2018 3B John Dempsey had an impressive day overall for the little Hoyas. Sound actions in the field and take a confident first step with soft hands. Showed impressive awareness on a tough backhand play with a runner on second whom he was able to throw out as the runner was over aggressive off second. Hits from an open setup at the plate. Gets to a strong position with a short swing and quick bat speed. Like his approach and plan at plate. Strong lower half and solid frame.

5.19.15 - 2018 John Dempsey hits from a slightly open stance from the left side.  Good balance, short load and good bat speed.  Good approach at the plate for young player.  Balanced footwork defensively and interesting prospect to keep track of.
