2.12.17 - Big stronger developed frame at 6-foot-2, 220-pounds. Ran a 7.54 60-yard dash. Hits from an athletic setup with high hands and bat waggle for rhythm. Shorter rock back loa dwith leg kick to hitting position with an arm bar. Longer swing path with bat speed, load gets timing out of whack at times. His lower half works, but probably could get more out of it. His exit velocity is 87. From the outfield he shows some athleticism with clean hands and moves through the ball well. Longer arm action from a high three-quarter slot. Outfield velocity is 83-----Cross has a very projectable, strong body at 6-foot-2, 220-pounds. He displays a high ¾ arm angle with a long arm action all the way through release. He pitches with some effort. Could get more out of his lower half with backside drive and finish. Given his physicality, if he can incorporate that in his delivery he should potentially make a jump in velo. His fastball was 76-78 with a downward plane. Breaking ball showed some shape at 62-64. Change-up is 69-71 with some fade.
2.21.15 - Langston Cross is a 6-foot-1 188-pound RHP/OF.  With a solid and athletic frame to fill out, Cross throws from a high ¾ arm angle at 70 mph.  He works thru the ball well but had a tendency to be on heels slightly. Offensively, Cross hit from an athletic set up, with a big sweeping load.  He showed average bat speed with pull side power potential.  His exit velocity was 70 mph.  On the mound Cross threw from an over-the-top arm angle at 70 mph.  He had a controlled delivery and pitched with some effort.  His 11/5 breaking ball had good rotation with near fastball arm speed.
