Strong athletic and mature frame at 6-foot-2, 190-pounds. Has a compact and deliberate delivery with slight pause in leg lift. Exaggerated hip load working to an almost drop n drive style with good backside drive. Front leg gets some recoil when pushing the hips through. Long and free arm action throwing from an almost over the top slot. Creates fast arm speed with relative ease. Fastball up to 88 mph on the day. Breaking ball had 11/5 shape up to 73 mph. Like to see more consistent rhythm throughout delivery. Exciting prospect with his potential.
Nathan Hardcastle is a RHP from Red Lion Christian Academy in DE. Athletic body and projectable frame. Already been up to 91 mph on the mound after the 2016 summer.
