6-foot, 200-pound sturdy physical build. Projectable at the plate, Holton recorded an exit velocity of 88 mph. (69.9 mph bat speed average). (21.3 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced pre-loaded stance with a smooth rhythmic load, then used a short stride. Bat speed was present raw, had a short upward swing plane and balanced good extension on his finish. He found lots of barrels with loud contact. Line drive approach. Solid capable in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 78 mph; has a clean exchange, consistent fluid feet, and sure consistent hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a short quick arm action and a high ¾ slot with decent accuracy to the bag. Clocked a 60 time of 7.28 at the event.

Maryland Top Prospect Games II
Body: 6’0”, 200 pounds. Strong, well put together and durable frame with present power to all fields. Hit: RHH. Slightly open, balanced stance with the barrel starting at an upward 45 degree angle over the head. Utilized a leg hang with stretch back to the shoulder for an accurate launch through a flat path into the hitting zone. Lifted with consistency allowing for backspin and carry to both gaps when pitched out over the plate. Really stacked up over the backside well generating increased bat speed with sink into a powerful/connected lower half. Consistent, hard contact throughout the pull side showing success to LCF. Power: 93 mph exit velocity during BP per TrackMan. Easy doubles power with jump to the pull side/home run power when getting extended on pitches up above the belt. Arm: RH. INF - 74 mph. Whippy high ¾ slot that could venture down below on plays on the run. Defense: Adequate footwork shuffling laterally through the fielding window at a medium postured position, let the hands work out in front, funneling inward to the belt line with accurate exchanges. Average pace from the left side of the diamond and got rid of the ball at a quicker release point. Run: 7.58 60-yard time.
Delivery: Operated from the stretch only, starting from a slightly wider base into leg lift. High positioning at the stack and coiled over the backside before driving out with intent off the right leg. Got over the front side well with a downhill approach into the strike zone. Arm Action: RH. High ¾ slot that could get to a power slot at times. FB: T80 mph, 77-80 mph. Average spin rate of 1787 rpm per TrackMan. Downhill play and heaviness into the zone with slight arm side run. CB: 67-70 mph. Average spin rate of 1630 rpm per TrackMan. Developing feel for spin, could backdoor for strikes with short, gradual shape. CH: 70-71 mph. Natural play off the FB and similar movement in on the hands of RHH and away from lefties.
