Drew Hill: LHP/OF, (2023) Grosse Pointe North, MI. 5-foot-10, 180-pound. Smooth at the plate, Hill clocked an exit velocity of 93 mph. Starts in a tall stance with a controlled load, then uses a toe tap. Bat speed is explosive, displays a short level swing plane and high finish. He barreled up multiple balls with loud contact. Opposite field approach. When throwing from the outfield, he showed off his strong arm with throws at velocities of 88 mph. Showed his athleticism during the event with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.98. On the mound, curveball (67-68 mph), changeup (73-75 mph).Produced a fastball that came in at 81-83 mph and topped out at 84 mph;

Hit: (LHH) Begins in a tall stance with a controlled load, then uses a toe tap. Explosive bat speed. High finish, short level swing. Opposite field approach. 

Power: 93 mph exit velocity, average 87.05 mph. 66.57 mph bat speed average. 21.02 mph hand speed average.

Arm: 88 mph outfield velocity. 

Speed: 6.98 (60-yard).

FB: T84. 81-83 mph. (Max spin 1877;  Avg 1788). 

CB: 67-68 mph. 

CH: 73-75 mph. 

Pitching: On the mound sets up on  right side of the rubber while mixing his up his timing on the bump. Explosive athlete that drives well down hill with a fast arm. Fastball has arm side run while commanding the zone. Has a heavy feel on his fastball, mixed in a sharp breaking ball. High follow arm in the 2023 class. 

Hitting: At the plate sets up with a wide base keeping his hands back in a strong loaded position. Gets his hands through the zone well making solid contact. Line drive approach at the plate. 86 mph exit velocity. 

Fielding: In the outfield works well through the ball creating a throwing lane throwing with a long arm action 84 mph. 

Hitting: At the plate has a physical frame, got his weight into his swing showing some power at the plate. Hit the ball hard towards the right side. Impressive round.
Pitching: On the mound sets up at a slant moving to his waist high balance point with a toe tap throwing from a high 3/4 arm angle. Has a fast arm on the mound. Hides the ball well throwing 75-79 mph. Worked the corners well. Stayed low in the zone. Worked his 64-66 mph sweeping curve to back door right hand hitters.
