Brenden Walker: 1B/RHP, (2024) U of D Jesuit, MI. 5-foot-10, 230-pound. Projectable in the box, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 70 mph. Started in an open stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Has some bat speed, simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Through his round he found a couple of barrels. Pull side approach. While in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 61 mph. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 8.85. Capable on the mound, used a short arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing good arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Balance is tall point with falling off shoulders in his delivery. Lands open with an upright finish. Sat with his fastball at 60-62 mph; showed cutting action and consistent control. Showed a 11/5 curveball (55-58) with gradual action.
