6-foot-1, 155 pound prospect on the mound steps right moving to his aggressive high leg lift while delivering from a 3/4 arm angle. At times appears to swing arm angles to sling the ball across his body, while presenting good command. Fastball sat 81-83 mph with good arm side run. Mixed in a late breaking  curve 64-66 mph and a deceptive change up with late drop 74-75 mph.

Peterson has a lanky 6-foot-1, 155-pound projectable frame. He has an open stance and has a bat wiggle with his rhythm. He has an uphill swing while staying through the ball to work all fields. His exit velocity was 78 mph and he ran a 4.56 home-to-1st. In the outfield, he works good angles to the ball and gets through it with his lower half. His position velocity was 76 mph. On the mound, he throws from a high-3/4 arm slot with a short arm action. His fastball sat 76-78 mph and topped out at 79 mph with downhill action. His curveball had 1/7 shape at 62-65 mph with good, late depth. He uses a high leg kick and repeats his delivery working inline and through towards his target.
