6-foot-4, 180 pound long projectable RHP with tremendous upside. Has a calm motion with a high leg lift throwing from a high 3/4 angle. Fastball has lots of arm side run with electricity 84-87 mph. Curve has a sharp break at an 11/5 angle 71-73 mph. Sinking 78-79 mph change up.

Gearing is a projectable 6-foot-3, 170-pound Right-Handed prospect. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot and has a long, loose arm. He controls his body throughout his delivery and has a violent head jerk after release. His fastball was heavy and sat 81-83 mph with arm side run that could be tough on right-handed hitters. He threw his curveball from a high-3/4 arm slot and it had 11/5 break on it while sitting 67-69 mph with late depth. His changeup was thrown with fastball arm speed and sat 77-79 mph with late run. He spins off his plant leg after release and does a good job of using his lower half with his delivery.

 

3.8.2015 6-foot, 150-pound prospect. Loose ¾ arm action with ability to fill the strike zone. Fastball with arm side run at 75-76 mph. Good movement to his curveball at 63-68 mph. Changeup was 66-67 mph.
