Connor Laskey: SS/RHP, (2022) Bedford, MI. 5-foot-10, 165-pound. During batting practice, Laskey clocked an exit velocity of 85 mph. Began in a tall stance with a small load, then used a toe tap to start his swing. Had uphill swing plane and a back foot finish. He created some loud contact during the round. Gap to gap approach. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 79 mph; has consistent hands, rhythmic consistent feet and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front movements laterally were athletic.Showed off his speed at the event, running a swift 6.85 60-yard dash.
At the plate sets up with an even stance using a knee bend. Throws his hands at the ball while making solid contact. Worked the back side while hitting. Gets his back leg into his swings.
