Grant Wolfram the 3rd ranked prospect in the Michigan 2015 class and Central Michigan commitment showed well from the left side of the mound. In his long lever frame of 6-foot-6, Wolfram showed a high-¾ arm action with plus control of a three pitches. Fastball was 87-89 with good arm-side run. Slider was a plus out pitch at 77-78 mph. Changeup has some sink to his glove side at 78-81 mph. Wolfram is a three-sport athlete in high school and has a high ceiling in his athletic body.

6/18/13 Big player from small town.  Wolfram is a 6-foot-6 , 185-pound lefty.  Has lots of moving parts but when it all comes together has a chance to be special.  Worked between 80-82 touching 84mph.  Breaking ball needs to tighten up.  Learning how to pitch still.  High follow.  If makes the jump should be highly sought after.
