Holding his hands chest high in a good loaded position he strides with his front leg taking an aggressive swing. Crushed pitch after pitch during BP. 89 mph exit velocity. Receives well behind the plate with a quick release down to 2B. Pop time ranged 1.94-2.03.

Allen is a 5-foot-11, 190-pound prospect with broad shoulders. He stands upright and narrow while using a knee pinch with his load. He displayed a short, uphill swing with quick wrists. His exit velocity was 87 mph and he ran a 4.57 home-to-1st. In the outfield, he has a controlled tempo to the ball and fields it out front. His velocity from the outfield was 72 mph.
