Jamil Ramsey: C/OF, (2022) Belleville, MI. 5-foot-8, 160-pound. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter displayed an exit velocity of 90 mph, showing his strength and power ability. While catching, consistently had pop times of 2.38-2.48, from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 77 mph. His best recorded velocity during throw downs was clocked at 70 mph; had quick athletic footwork, consistent hands and a quick exchange. Movements laterally were athletic. Displayed speed and athleticism at the event, recording a 60 time of 6.89.
Hitting: At the plate has an open stance with a small crouch. Minimal foot load throwing his hands at the ball. Contact hitter that works the pull side. Shows quick hands at the plate.
Fielding: In the outfield shows a calm demeanor allowing the ball to come then attacks his hop. Has a verticle crow hop and short arm throw.
